Permission slips for Labor Day Camp are open

Hike details:

Submit permission slip online (check the permission slip function even if you are not going)

Location: Black Star Canyon Falls

The trail can be accessed off of Highway 241 at Santiago Canyon. After a few miles you will turn left onto Silverado Canyon and then left onto Black Star Canyon Road. 

You can park along the road. DO NOT leave valuables in the car; hikers have reported vehicle break-ins near the trailhead.

Start Time: 7:00AM gathering - 7:15AM hike start

End Time: 12:00PM

Lunch provided after hike

Prepare for hot weather! Bring a daypack with water and snacks (do not carry extra weight). Pack more water than you think you will need as you will consume more water due to being active in the heat.  Wear class b and sun protection.
