Dear parents,

Our next new scout enrollment will be on September 22, 2019 

To ensure a quality program, our new scout admission is now closed since we have reached our adults to scouts ratio. 

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN for September 2019,

please put them on our waiting list by click "contact us " at the end of this message to send in their information:

If you live in the area North of Irvine, we strongly suggest you to visit Hoi Dong Trung Uong Huong Dao Viet Nam website: www.iccvs.org, click on "our units", and choose "Southwest USA" to find another Vietnamese scout unit that can admit your children right away.  Please feel free to contact us if you need help.

Second and Third Graders: Class A shirt (in navy blue) ,  Orange County Council Patch, Cub Scout belt, Cub Scout Wolf hat, socks and one of the following:

  1. Wolf handbook  (2nd  graders)
  2. Bear handbook (3rd graders)

Fourth and Fifth Graders: Class A shirt (in tan color), green shorts, green long pants, Orange County Council patch, Webelos hat, Green belt with BSA buckle, Blue shoulder loop, green socks and Webelos handbook.

2. BSA Online Youth Application (for girls bridging from Me Linh to Bach Viet or for any new scouts only) [click here] --> use zipcode 92606-->click on Venturing-->click on Find and Apply-->select Crew 105 LDHuong Viet-->create account-->fill out electronically online-->submit online

3. BSA annual health form [click here] fill out info electronically-->print out-->both scout and parents sign the forms; turn in a copy of insurance card (front and back); turn in a copy of the scout's complete immunization record (do not fill in the immunization chart)

NOTE: returning scouts do not need to make copies of immunization record--we will reuse last year's immunization record BUT a new copy of the insurance card is required

6. Registration & Annual fees:

for new bridged-up boys (from Dong Da to Bach Viet 1st year): $200 payable to Crew 105 ($33 BSA + $12 insurance fee + $20 HPH + $135 apply to most camp fees from Sep-Sep and does not include special events/outings)

for existing BV boys$200 payable to Crew 105 ($33 BSA + $12 insurance fee + $20 HPH + $135 apply to most camp fees from Sep-Sep and does not include special events/outings)

for new bridged-up girls: $243 payable to Crew 105 ($33 BSA registration + $12 Council fee + $8 BSA prorated registration fee Sep-Dec of bridged up year +$20 HPH + $135 for most camp fees from Sep-Sep + $35 prepay for GS dues next May) 

for existing BV girls still pursuing Gold Award: $235 payable to Crew 105 (same total fee as new girls' minus $8 BSA prorated fee)

for existing BV girls NOT pursuing GA and/or a HS senior: $200 payable to Crew 105 (same as existing BV girls' minus $35 GS dues)

Checks payable to: Crew 105 (write scout's name on memo line)

6. Uniform fee: orders will be taken and distributed by Bach Viet officers; write a separate check for uniform order; payable to Crew 105 and memo scout's name on memo line

9. For youths over 18 or adults: Complete the new Youth Protection Training (YPT- Y01) by logging in to https://my.scouting.org/; turn in certificate of completion to Crew advisor
